Do i really need a licence to tow a caravan or trailer?

If you passed your car test after 1st January 1997, and now wish to tow a caravan or trailer you will need to pass the DFA B+E practical test before hand.

No need resit your theory or a hazard perception test when upgrading your licence so you can get started right away if you wish.
