James was really helpfuland friendly and gave me all the information i needed. He was flexible when i booked lessons and extremely professional and organised with planning lessons, regarding theory and practical.

Having had driving lessons in the past without success, I was looking for an instructor who could teach me to drive at a high standard and tailor lessons to a pace to suit me,
a very nervous pupil.
After much research I discovered James at Maine Road Driving School.
James is a patient, friendly, supportive instructor and has a very calm manner. I found him easy to talk to and discuss my progress with, I could ask anything about my lessons that I was unsure of ( even if he had already gone through it five times) and he would explain it again without making me feel silly.
The continued encouragement and excellent tuition from James enabled me to take my practical test earlier this year and PASS.

I passed my driving test first time, 8 weeks after my 17th birthday and that’s all thanks to Jim. I felt at ease from the first lesson as he is very patient. His instruction was clear, precise and easy to understand. Jim helped me so much to build my confidence and he gave me a lot of encouragement. I would highly recommend Jim as an instructor.
